Dabble Privacy Policy

Effective date:
Last updated:

At Dabble, we believe that children’s creativity should be private, safe, and free from digital tracking. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in our iPad app designed for children aged 2–4.

1. No personal data collection

Dabble does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII).

  • We do not ask for names, ages, birthdays, or email addresses.
  • We do not collect device identifiers (like IDFA or GAID).
  • We do not track location data.

2. Drawing data and storage

All drawings and creative works made within Dabble are stored locally on your device.

  • We do not have access to your child’s drawings.
  • We do not use a cloud server to store or back up artwork.
  • If you delete the app, the drawings are deleted from the device.

3. No advertising or third-party tracking

Dabble is 100% ad-free.

  • We do not use any third-party advertising SDKs.
  • We do not use analytics tools (like Google Analytics or Flurry) that track individual user behavior or sessions.

4. Purchases

Dabble Pro is an optional in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple’s own privacy policy. Dabble receives only the information needed to confirm that a purchase is active; it never sees your payment details.

To protect children from navigating away from the app or accessing external content, Dabble includes a parent gate.

  • The canvas menu requires a two-second hold designed to be difficult for toddlers to trigger by accident.
  • Sharing, purchasing, and every external link require a parent to answer a short arithmetic question first.
  • There are no links to social media or external websites within the child-facing interface.

6. COPPA and GDPR compliance

Dabble is designed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because we do not collect any personal information from children, we do not require parental consent for data processing.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
